Ta Nei Temple is located at the north of Takeo temple. It was built in the reign of King Jayavarman VII in late 12th century, in order to dedicate to Buddhism.
The visitor will find the way and time to visit Ta Nei after Takeo. You may need to cross through the path and ditch in the forest at about 800m to reach it. On the western side of the road, you will first reach the western gopura of the temple.
The temple is 200m west of East Baray in the western dike. It is well preserved as it has been left untouched.
Ta Nei Temple has a big root tree similar to Ta Prohm but the root was not overwhelmed the roof.
